I've bought this beautiful Journey Necklace from skinnerstudio on etsy few weeks ago. The lovely lady Jenny has custom made the necklace for me with the map of Hong Kong! As many of you know Hong Kong was my birth place and families and most of my close friends are still there, wearing this necklace just makes me feel a bit closer to home.

Hong Kong Hostages Killed In Philippines Bus Siege (Monday 23rd August 2010)
This is only a 2 minutes video we are watching but all the hostages were kept on the bus for more than 12 hours yesterday in Philippines. The whole Hong Kong was watching this news live for 2 hours in the evening. My heart stopped when I heard the gun shots and I pray for all of those who suffered from this tragic news.

Hong Kong I love Hong Kong
A friend of mine asked me to do a painting of Victoria Habour, Hong Kong, for him, so I went to do some research on Flickr and I came across these 1960s photos of Hong Kong! It is so amazing! Hong Kong looks so different from 50 years ago! Although so many people (especially my parents) said Hong Kong was so much more beautiful back then, I have to say, I love the Hong Kong that we have today! It is more spectacular than so many places around the world.
Love Queen Elizabeth II dress!!!1965 Yau Ma Ti
2009 Yau Ma Ti
Its funny though I found this photo of Yau Ma Ti taken in 1967 and when I look at today's photo, nothing much has changed except the sea is gone! the building is still there!! how weird! does that mean people still living in the same condition as 50 years ago???
And I am very sure if I show this photo to my dad, he'll definitely tell me that he built part of the tunnel and part of the MTR (railway) and the stories will just go on and on and on and on.....

update
Haven't update my blog for a month coz I am going through some serious personal problems... I am now back to my home in Hong Kong and hopefully will back to Australia after new year...
few days ago I looked at the big shoulder bag I made last year and I thought: what have I done this year? I have spent the past six months morning, getting angry, depressing, and hating myself. I didn't do anything creative except destroying myself. I was so upset that I completely forgot what I am doing.
I think I have to stop hating myself from now on... I have to stand up and fight....
2009 is coming
2009 is my year.
